Raul an Maria Gil, the owners of Casa Don Juan, have always dreamed of having the opportunity to show off our passion for Mexican cuisine. Little did we know that we would have that opportunity but outside our native country, Mexico. Since always we have had this passion for mexican food. It has always been part of us, just like the authentic seasoning of "Mama Meche (Mercedes)" and the authentic recipes of "Abuela Maria", which are priceless. We will always have in our memories growing up in the middle of this environment, smelling, savoring and enjoying these delicious delicacies which is the authentic mexican food.

We are thankful that we can actually share our passion with each one of you, "our customers". Everytime one of our customers comes to celebrate a birthday party, a wedding, a graduation, an anniversary, etc, with us, it makes us feel so proud of our culture, seeing how you enjoy every bite of our food and just how happy you seemed to have spend time at our restaurant, we could not ask for more. We want to thank our cooks because thanks to their dedication and hard work we were able to keep that authentic mexican flavor in each one of our plates. Thank you to each one of you "our customers" because without you nothing of this would be possible. Every time you visit us you keep our dream alive.

Story About Frida Kahlo
Frida Kahlo is an essential and important part for Casa Don Juan. She was and still is one of Mexico’s most important artist. She has always promoted Mexico’s culture and art. Casa Don Juan, even though a restaurant, really strives in also promoting Mexico’s art and culture. It is important for us to maintain our heritage, to show as much of it as possible to everyone outside Mexico. Every time someone walks into our restaurant they are greeted with that warmth just like you would if you would visit Mexico. Our restaurant is decorated top to bottom with authentic Mexican art, more specifically, Frida Kahlo’s art and those authentic little decorations that make Mexico so much special. Many do not know that part of Mexico that is why we try our hardest to show our customers what Mexico is really about. In our menu our customers can find drinks dedicated to Frida Kahlo and her legacy. She is a well-known artist around the world. Her work and art until this date has had no comparison. Casa Don Juan feels proud in every aspect of what she is and what she represents, Mexico itself.
